ALPINE MODERN

PeLiDesign realized a range of  furniture for a German producer of contract, hotel and restaurant furniture: GoIn

The objective was to design furniture items that do fit in a variety of places and are nice and easy on the eye, are very sturdy and

good to produce.

After this brief, PeLiDesign  was diving into the carpentry history for production techniques.

For stylistic  inspiration a research into vernacular furniture from the Alps was the starting point. A repeated visit to the “Volkskunst Museum Innsbruck, Austria” was very helpful.

The furniture line became very modern with no frills at all but at the same time rooted in tradition.

All this was done in close cooperation with the Director of the company Mr. Maurus Reisenthel and the team of GoIn.
