PeLiDesign got a special mention for the KATABA table at this years German Design award! We are honoured!

STATEMENT OF THE JURY [ Prof. Oliver Grabes,  Sebastian Herkner ]The KATABA table is inspired by Japanese craftsmanship and boasts a level of quality often only achieved through CNC manufacturing in Europe. Made from
robust HPS and select wood, it is available in various different forms, sizes and material combinations. The KATABA is delivered in flat-pack
form and must be assembled by the customer without tools, although this is easily done. An interesting design, the reduced form of which
incorporates the mechanism of lightweight structure and yet still appears purist.

JURYBEGRÜNDUNG [ Prof. Oliver Grabes,  Sebastian Herkner ]Der KATABA Tisch ist von japanischer Handwerkskunst inspiriert und von einer Qualität, wie sie in Europa oftmals erst durch CNC-Fertigung
erreicht wird. Hergestellt aus robustem HPL und ausgesuchtem Holz ist er in vielen Formen, Größen und Materialkombinationen erhältlich. Der
KATABA wird „flat-pack“ geliefert und muss vom Kunden ohne Hilfsmittel aufgebaut werden, was jedoch recht einfach geht. Ein interessantes
Design, dessen reduzierte Gestaltung den Mechanismus des leichten Aufbaus miteinbezieht und dennoch äußerst puristisch wirkt.
